			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Northside Arts Collective (NAC) has an ongoing exhibition contract with NorthPoint Health and Wellness Center to coordinate quarterly exhibitions in their main gallery.  NAC would like to fill the following open positions for work at NorthPoint, to be compensated at $50/hr according to the number of hours allotted in the job description. NAC will retain a 20% commission from the compensation, so the pay rate will be $40/hr to the person(s) completing the work.</p>
<p>I.  Curator</p>
<ul>
<li>Plan quarterly exhibitions</li>
<li>Implement artist agreement</li>
<li>Schedule and communicate with artists to exhibit their work</li>
<li>Serve as contact point for artist</li>
<li>Meet and greet at artist receptions</li>
<li>Serve as contact point for NorthPoint employees</li>
<li>Be responsible for care and repair of permanent collection</li>
<li>Keep record of permanent collection</li>
<li>Create and install NAC sign in rotating exhibition area (1-time act)</li>
<li>Meet with gallery assistant and marketing coordinator as needed</li>
<li>52 hrs/yr (5 hrs/mo for 4 months and 4 hrs/mo for 8 months)</li>
</ul>
<p>II. Gallery Assistant</p>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate with curator and artist for installation and take-down of exhibition</li>
<li>Hang and take down exhibition artwork</li>
<li>Hang title cards</li>
<li>Confirm order and delivery of food for artist reception</li>
<li>Get paper products for artist reception</li>
<li>Fill pitchers of water for artist reception</li>
<li>Set up/clean up artist reception</li>
<li>Meet with curator and marketing coordinator as needed</li>
<li>4 hrs/quarterly, 16 hrs/ annually</li>
</ul>
<p>III. Marketing Coordinator</p>
<ul>
<li>Create digital, email friendly (text) exhibition promo, pdf ad including image teaser</li>
<li>Send exhibition promo to NorthPoint Communications Director to distribute internally, to NAC resources (member email, website), the North News, the Camden News and the Homewood Studios newsletter</li>
<li>Make title cards for exhibitions (including multiple languages)</li>
<li>Arrange (send and retrieve) title card and artist statement translation with NorthPoint interpreters (Spanish, Hmong, French and possibly Somali)</li>
<li>Meet with curator and gallery assistant as needed</li>
<li>5 hrs/quarterly, 20 hrs/annually</li>
</ul>

In other art forms, Amy creates collage, assembles small doll-like figures and writes poetry<br />
